Special Information for Post-9/11 Veterans, Military personnel and their families:
I am an approved provider for individual, couple and family counseling via scholarships for post-9/11 veterans, military personnel and family through the Camaraderie Foundation's program.

Medicare is funded through the federal government, and at present the law funding Medicare does not permit Licensed Mental Health Counselors or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (my two professional licenses) to bill Medicare for services. If you are seeking mental health services and have Medicare coverage, you will need to seek services from a psychiatrist (DO or MD), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed clinical psychologist, or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
Each time the funding bill comes up for renewal, LMHCs and LMFTs lobby Congress to include our professions in the funding bill. However, at this time, we are still not able to serve Medicare clients.
